Role Play

Role-playing is a valuable natural tool for development and education enhancement, from EYFS upward. 

Role-playing allows children the space to imagine, understand, work through, communicate, and collaborate. As children creatively inhabit self-determined roles, their communication and language skills benefit especially, whether native English-speaking children or children with English as an additional language, as they work together to build their imagined world.

Watch children navigate social interactions from a position of safety as they role-play with their peers, developing empathy and understanding for others as they make sense of real-life situations and decide which course of action to take. Controlled risk-taking in a safe environment as they explore and investigate allows them to develop crucial self-confidence and analytical skills.
