Perfect for outdoor and indoor use, this pack contains a large foam shape of each of the numbers 1 to 10, in colours to match. The largest shape is 90 x 35cm, and smallest is 17.5 x 17.5cm. Numicon builds a deep understanding of maths through a multi-sensory approach, developing children's fluency, reasoning and problem-solving. It uses a series of structured patterns to represent numbers as part of a progressive teaching programme. The Large Foam Shapes encourage understanding of number and arithmetic in an engaging and practical way. Suitable for ages 3 Years+. Bring the mathematical learning outdoors by enabling the children to see the relationship between different numbers and make connections with their number bonds to 10 with real life objects. One way they can be used is to collect objects such as pinecones and place them in the circles. Add and subtract objects together by joining the shapes and counting the objects.
